PRIORITIES

Jody believes in limited government, personal responsibility, and fiscal discipline. In the State House, he’ll put Alabama First fighting to lower taxes, protecting small businesses, defending our conservative values, and ensuring the next generation has the same opportunity to build a better future right here at home.

  • Every dollar the state takes from you is a dollar you can’t use to put food on the table, pay your bills, or invest in your family’s future. That’s why I’ll always fight to lower taxes for Wiregrass families.

Yes, we need tax dollars to support roads, schools, and essential services, but government officials typically aren’t good stewards of taxpayer money. Wasteful spending is everywhere, and it’s time we hold Montgomery accountable. I’ll work to make government live within its means—just like the rest of us do.

Hardworking Alabamians know how to spend their money better than the government ever will, and that’s the mindset I’ll have going into every vote.

  • I know firsthand what it takes to build a business, make payroll, and stretch a dollar.

But my experiences as an entrepreneur have shown me how important it is to have leaders who understand the challenges small businesses face every day. In the State House, I’ll work to cut unnecessary red tape for Wiregrass business owners, lowering their taxes and creating an environment where they can thrive—not just survive. Why? Because I know exactly what they’re up against.

The small businesses that make up our local economies are integral to our communities, and when they succeed, the trickle-down effect can be seen everywhere. They create more jobs, lean into local suppliers, and strengthen the entire Wiregrass region.

Here’s my promise: I will fight to make sure Alabama laws reward hard work and entrepreneurship, not bureaucracy.

  • Times are changing—and not for the better.

Democrats have created an environment where the values that built our communities, such as faith, family, and freedom, are constantly under assault. Boys in our daughters’ bathrooms and abortion on demand are just two examples of the headlines we often see, and the onslaught of progressivism is like a freight train barreling toward us.

The good news? If we stand together on the foundation of conservative values we hold dear, we can keep the world at bay and protect our children, grandchildren, and future generations from the madness we see playing out in blue states.

In the State House, I will stand firm for what matters most: protecting our children, defending freedom, and preserving the conservative values that make Alabama strong.
